100 Squat Challenge
In February, The Larissa Foundation launched a fun and unique challenge, asking supporters to join Marie, Larissa’s mum, in completing 100 squats.
While Marie dedicated herself to completing 100 squats every single day, friends, family members, and supporters from near and far volunteered to take on the challenge for just one day each. Participants filmed their efforts and uploaded the videos to The Larissa Foundation Facebook page, which quickly became a hub of laughter and encouragement.
As the month went on, the videos became increasingly creative and entertaining—people wore fancy dress, involved family members, and even incorporated their pets! By the end of the challenge, a staggering 522 people, 6 babies, 2 horses, and 3 dogs had taken part, all squatting for a cause.
Thanks to the incredible enthusiasm and generosity of everyone involved, the challenge raised an amazing £5,625 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, helping to support young people with cancer and their families.
This challenge not only raised vital funds but also brought the community together in a fun and uplifting way, perfectly capturing the spirit of The Larissa Foundation.
